Santi Carzola of Arsenal, smiles after been shown the red card by Mike Dean

The performance of Mike Dean on Saturday in the EPL clash between Chelsea and Arsenal, has left many Arsenal supporters calling out the FA to the referee from officiating any of the gooners matches again.

Dean who sent off Arsenal pair Gabriel and Carzola on Saturday, only awarded Diego Costa who was in the middle of an heated bust-up with both Koscielny and Gabriel, was only shown yellow after he had violently elbowed Koscielny on the face.

Not only did Costa avoid being Red - carded by the referee, Dean, in the cause of 90 minutes, did not award Arsenal any foul. That is a statistics anybody who watched the encounter will be surprised with, considering Costa performance.

For one Arsenal supporter, Saturday performance by Mike Dean, was just one step too far. The supporter, decided to start an official petition to have Dean barred from refereeing his side’s matches. The petition which is still less than 48 hours old, seems to be gaining more support. As it now has more than 32,000 signatories.

The statement attached to the petition, explained;
“After many poor decisions that go against Arsenal when Mike Dean is refereeing the game, it is time that we get an inquiry to his ability to
referee Arsenal games.

"Major incidents have occurred in recent and past games that show he is inept at refereeing at this level now. The recent events at Chelsea V
Arsenal (19/09/15) highlight this where two Arsenal players were dismissed while Diego Costa the opposition player made four straight
red card incidents and was shown one yellow card only.

“Also the incident where Mike Dean celebrated for the opposition, when they scored a goal, this was in the Arsenal V Tottenham Hotspur fixture
(26/02/2012).”
