According to a statement made available to newsmen at Abuja on Monday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr Abubakar Magaji, Thursday, October 1, has been declared a public holiday by the federal government to mark this years independence celebration across the country.
Mr Abubakar Magaji, made the declaration on behalf of the government in a statement signed by Yusuf Isiaka the Ministry’s Director of Press.
Magaji. While congratulating Nigerians, used the medium, to thank citizens of the country both those that are based abroad and in Nigeria for their continued support of President Muhammadu Buhari, in his quest to build a peaceful, united and virile nation.
Magaji, also urged Nigerians to continue to pray for a peaceful and united nation.
