The president of the federation, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, at the 31st Convocation and 40th Anniversary of the University of Ilorin, warned lecturers and schools to refrain from inciting students, and any form of academical corruption, or face the full wrath of the law.
At the convocation ceremony yesterday, Friday 23 September, Buhari, made it known that his administration will not tolerate and lecturer or institutions, who indulge in any form of academic exploitation or inciting of students, to destabilise the system.
Buhari who was represented by Secretary of Government of Federation, Mr David Babachir, said the present administration was ready to support development of infrastructure in institutions, promotion of vocational studies, and educational reforms. In order to ensure that graduates were fully employed.
On the graduands, the President, adviced them to remain disciplined and uphold their integrity, stressing that they must shun corruption and all forms of social vices as they step out of the institution.
