Coach of the Golden Eaglets, Emmanuel Amuneke, has reassured Nigerians that his lads, are more focused on retaining the title which they won 2 years ago in the UAE.
The Eaglets, who defeated Brazil by 3 goals to nil(3-0), faces Mexico midnight today in the Semi Finals of the U-17 championship taking place in Chile.

After coming under scrutiny from some factions of analyst, and football pundits, after the match against Brazil, with an alleged lost of concentration, after scoring 3 first half goals.

The eaglets, were warned not to think that the deal have already been done, but focus more on their next match.

But coach of the team, Emmanuel Amuneke, has come out to reassure Nigerians that his team are focus and determined to bring back home the trophy, and are not by any means loosing concentration, or taking any opponent for granted.

“It was not like we scored three goals and that was it. Before that our side had 15 very good minutes, when they moved the ball around as we knew they could.

“You have to give credit to my kids, who were tranquil and kept their cool to deal with the Brazil pressure and then scored at the right time.

“For them to beat Brazil is a big confidence boost. We still have a long way to the title, though,” he told FIFA.Com.

The match against Brazil, will kickoff by 12am Nigerian time. That is early Friday morning.
