Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, loose mom

It might no longer be news that Super Eagles captain And Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama,  withdrew from the 2017 Afcon qualifier against Tanzania.

Many people were left in the dark, about the decision of Vincent Enyeama. As he has been very committed to the cause. Some quarters even went on to suggests that he did not like the appointment of Sunday Oliseh as coach of the Super Eagles.

The National team coach, who confirmed Enyeama's withdrawal from the squad while briefing reporters at a Media parley in Abuja said “he[Vincent Enyeama] asked to be withdrawn from this game, for which reason I don’t know, I think you have to ask him personally.

Oliseh who was disappointed by the late withdrawal of Enyeama, was left fumimg. As he disclosed that the Super Eagles, is on a rebuilding process. And such decisions, will only give him more headaches, continued;
“The late withdrawal has put me in a very tight situation because I must confess that the task ahead of us is a very difficult one and I didn’t need this extra burden.

“We’re practically starting this team from the scratch, it’s not very pleasant but that’s life.”

But the former media officer of the super Eagles, Colin Udoh, in a tweet, on Wednesday, disclosed that the Captain of the Super Eagles, has lost his mum.

Colin, wrote on his twitter page “Unable to reach Enyeama so far, but
have confirmed from close family sources that he lost his mum hence the withdrawal from #SuperEagles.”

May God grant him the grace to bare the loss.
